Officers Seek Leads in Woman’s Disappearance
Sheriff’s detectives on Thursday urged the public to help in finding a 65-year-old woman who has been missing from her Lakewood home for more than two months.
Louise Ayala was last seen July 6, said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Joan Raber. Ayala lived alone and enjoyed traveling, which is why her absence went unnoticed for so long.
Detectives found no indication of preparations for travel arrangements, and a check of hospitals and the coroner’s office turned up nothing, Raber said.
Ayala is 5-foot-2, and weighs 135 pounds. She has gray hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with more information is asked to call (213) 890-5500.
