Basketball Greats Join Murray Tribute

Jerry West, former all-star basketball player and current Laker executive vice president, and Ann Meyers Drysdale, former UCLA All-American basketball player and current network television commentator, round out the list of speakers for Saturday’s Jim Murray Memorial Tribute.
The free-to-the public event, at Dodger Stadium, will begin at 10 a.m. Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP at (800) LATIMES, Ext. 72124.
Previously announced speakers were Chris McCarron, nationally known jockey; Al Davis, Raider managing general partner; Al Michaels, voice of “Monday Night Football”; Chick Hearn, longtime Laker broadcaster, and Vin Scully, voice of the Dodgers.
