Tracy Lindquist
Ocean View, Senior; Volleyball/Setter
Among the best high school setters in the nation, Lindquist finds ways to win, even in hard times. Although the team wasn’t at full strength, top-ranked Ocean View held off second-ranked Corona del Mar in five games last week, with Lindquist collecting 63 assists, 28 digs and 15 kills in the Division III-A victory.

* La Habra, Senior. Had 28 kills in No. 2 La Habra’s five-game upset of Lakewood St. Joseph, the top-rated team in Division II-A.

Angela Won/Golf
* University, Freshman. Shot 38 at Green River and 32 at David L. Baker last week as the Trojans split two nonleague matches.

Pam Smith/Cross-Country
* Esperanza, Senior. Led No. 1 Aztecs to 15-50 victory over Marina with three-mile time of 18 minutes two seconds at Huntington Central Park.
