An Oxnard motorcycle officer suffered minor injuries Saturday when he hit a car that had pulled in front of him, authorities said.
Officer Brian Ellison collided broadside with a Ford Mustang driven by Leigh Ann Lauinger after she pulled out of her apartment complex along the 2900 block of Peninsula Road about 10:45 a.m., authorities said.
Ellison, a 12-year member of the Oxnard Police Department, was taken to St. John’s Regional Medical Center, where he was treated for leg pain and released.
No charges were filed against Lauinger, but the incident remains under investigation.
