SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO

The City Council today will consider fire prevention plans for buildings to be constructed by the Capistrano Valley Baptist Christian School and the Catholic Diocese of Orange. The diocese is constructing a Faith and Education Center next to Mission San Juan Capistrano, which will require the relocation of a water main and the construction of fire sprinklers, hydrants and a water line. The Baptist Christian School is planning to construct a commercial building that will require fire sprinklers and hydrants. Both property owners are required by the Orange County Fire Authority to include fire safety devices for their new buildings.
