Aliso Niguel 2, No. 7 El Toro 0--Junior Brockton Schermerhorn scored two goals, giving him five this season, for Aliso Niguel (2-1-2).

No. 2 Mater Dei 3, Newport Harbor 0--All three goals came in the first half as Matt Fennell scored in the sixth and 35th minutes and Matt Doty scored in the 11th minute. Radames Lafaurie had six saves for the Sailors (5-1-1).

No. 4 El Dorado 3, Foothill 0--Jay Larsen scored twice and Ignacio Cid scored on a penalty kick in the 65th minute for El Dorado (5-0). Goalkeeper Brandon Shaver had 14 saves for Foothill (1-2-1).

No. 8 Santa Ana 3, Estancia 1--Carlos Nava scored three goals and Danny Morales had five saves, including one on a penalty kick in the first half when the score was 1-1, for Santa Ana (3-1). Estancia is 3-1.

Temecula Valley 36, Villa Park 27--Despite winning seven matches, the Spartans could not get the big victories they needed to beat the defending Southern Section Division I champions. Wille Parks, ranked first in the county at 152 pounds, and Tommy Peralta, ranked second at 112, won their matches for the Spartans.
