Fire Deaths
Re “3 Die in Compton Fire as Hydrants Unable to Work,” Dec. 20: Three residents of our state (two of them children) lost their lives in a tragic fire. Fire hydrants in the area were inoperable, while two government entities argued over the details of getting them hooked to a water main. How pathetic is that? The gross negligence associated with this tragic sequence of events absolutely sickens me!
