Friday is New Year’s Eve. The following schedule will be in effect:
* State offices are open. Most city, county and federal offices are closed.
* Schools, including colleges and universities, are closed.
* County, state and federal courthouses are closed.
* County libraries are closed, as well as most city libraries.
* Banks and savings and loans are open.
* Mail: Regular service.
* Trash: Regular service.
* OCTA: Orange County Transportation Authority buses will run on a limited schedule.
