SONG AND DANCE
Volunteers with singing and dancing abilities and who are 21 or older are invited to audition for the fourth annual CHOC Follies on Jan. 8 and 9 at 10 a.m. at the Sutton Place Hotel, 4500 MacArthur Blvd., Newport Beach.
The original musical production “Fabulous Fables & Twisted Tales” will be presented on March 31 and April 1 at the 1,200-seat theater on the former El Toro Marine Corps Air Station.
A professional director, choreographer and music director will guide the 120 members of the cast.
Executive producer Gloria Zigner, center, worked with volunteers Brooke Robbins and Ed Merino to create last year’s musical. The first three CHOC Follies netted more than $500,000 for Children’s Hospital Foundation of Orange County.
