Authorities Seek Information on 4 Fugitives

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department is asking the public’s help in locating one man and three women wanted on suspicion of crimes ranging from assault with a deadly weapon to murder. Arrest warrants have been issued in each case.

Luis Phillip Ponce, 23, is wanted in the slaying of his former girlfriend, who was found stabbed to death in her Sherman Oaks apartment Dec. 9. A warrant was issued for Ponce, charging him with murder.

He is a Ventura County resident and has relatives in Camarillo, Somis and Oxnard. Authorities say Ponce, considered armed and dangerous, may be planning to flee the area. They say informants reported that he has a gun and that he said he “will not be taken.”

Ponce is Latino, 5 feet 9, 160 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Tattooed on his chest is “Ponce,” and on his back, a peacock, a pipe and “Christina.”

Cassandra Cappuccio, 26, was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, according to authorities. She obtained a bail bond and was released from jail, but failed to make her court appearance.

Cappuccio’s last-known address was 84 S. Evergreen Drive in Ventura. She previously worked as a dancer at Snooky’s Bar on Ventura Avenue.

She is Latina, 5 feet 8, 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Deann Marie Valenzuela, 24, has allegedly violated her probation for numerous convictions, including theft, burglary and forgery. Authorities say three felony warrants have been issued.

She was last known to have lived at 111 Pearl St. in Port Hueneme. Authorities say she is unemployed.

Valenzuela is Latina, 5 feet 2, 160 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Tattooed on her left wrist is “love.”

Tracy Ann Roche, 29, allegedly violated her probation on convictions of stolen property, drug possession and being under the influence of drugs, according to authorities.

She last lived at 2221 South L St. in Oxnard and was unemployed.

Roche is Latina, 5 feet 5, 155 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.
