* Poets Victor D. Infante and Charles Ardinger will read at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Laguna Beach Brewing Co., 422 S. Coast Highway, Laguna Beach.
* Charlene Costanzo will discuss and sign “The Twelve Gifts of Birth” at 7 p.m. Friday at Borders Books and Music, 429 S. Associated Road, Brea.
* Steve Allen will sign “Murder in Hawaii” and “Dumbth” at 1 p.m. Saturday at Borders Books, 1890 Newport Blvd., Costa Mesa.
* Stephen J. Hemenway, a Los Angeles County deputy sheriff, will read and sign “The Slouch in the Couch,” the first in his series of children’s books, at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Borders Books and Music, 429 Associated Road, Brea.
