Rupert, Al and Coliseum: It Could Have Been Perfect
Rupert Murdoch must be kicking himself after reading that the Oakland Athletics are for sale for the bargain price of $120 million. Rupe could have saved $200 million by simply buying the A’s and hiring Al Davis to move them to L.A. They could even have played in the “New Coliseum,” which won’t be used for anything else until the 2016 Olympics.
