Jason Capel made four free throws in the final 22 seconds of overtime to win it for the Tar Heels, 22-7 overall and 10-5 in the ACC.

The Demon Deacons (15-12, 6-9) fell to 1-14 in the Smith Center despite 28 points from three-point ace Robert O’Kelley, who fouled out with 1:09 left in overtime.
