A $25,000 reward was offered Wednesday for information leading to the arrests and convictions of the gunmen who killed a Westlake pawnshop owner, authorities said.

Yuri Dolinsky, 43, made no attempt to resist during the armed robbery at the D & D Pawn Shop, but was killed nevertheless, said Los Angeles police Det. A. Pelt.

Two suspects held the pawnshop at gunpoint Oct. 20, Pelt said. They took Dolinsky to a back room of the shop and shot him to death.

“You tell them not to resist, he didn’t and they killed him,” Pelt said. “That makes it a little bit [more] dangerous for the rest of the citizens.”

Detectives released a composite drawing of one of the suspects.

Dolinsky came to the United States from Russia 10 years ago, Pelt said. He is survived by his wife, a daughter and a son.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call detectives at (213) 207-2051, or after hours at (213) 485-4062.
