A computer firm owner who previously was charged with kidnapping, rape and sexual battery of two women has been rearrested in a new case involving four more alleged victims, one of whom reportedly was drugged before being raped.

John Gordon Jones, 44, pleaded not guilty Tuesday in Los Angeles Municipal Court. He is being held without bail.

Jones had been free on $495,000 bail following his arrest last month in the first case. In that case, filed Dec. 23, he is suspected of drugging two women and kidnapping them from the Garden of Eden nightclub on Hollywood Boulevard. He then allegedly took them by limousine to his home in the Beverly Glen area.

His co-defendant in the December case, Pina Maria Colapinto, 32, is charged with oral copulation by use of drugs and sexual battery of the two victims, who prosecutors now say were acquaintances of the defendant.

The charges in the new case include six counts of forcible rape involving four victims between 1996 and 1998, according to the complaint. One of the victims was allegedly drugged before she was sexually assaulted.

Jones faces a possible life sentence. Colapinto, free on $130,000 bail, is not named in the new complaint.

Jones’ attorney, Ronald Richards, has stated that the sex between his client and the women was consensual.
