Orange Unified School District trustees have declared today School Nurse Day and this week School Health Week. The district’s nurses were introduced at last week’s board meeting, and Dottie Strand was honored as district School Nurse of the Year.
Trustees also recognized Joe Perry, an 11th-grade student at Villa Park High School, for his community service in triage training of employees for disaster preparedness.
