Former San Antonio Spur guard Vinny Del Negro ended his short-lived return to the Italian Basketball League by agreeing in principle to a contract with the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday.

The shooting guard, who played six seasons with San Antonio, joined Teamsystem Bologna last month during the NBA lockout.

Del Negro, 32, missed a decisive two-point shot for Bologna in the final seconds of an Italian Cup semifinal Thursday night. The 74-73 loss against Varese eliminated the defending Cup champions.

Gray was fouled by 76er rookie Casey Shaw, whose elbow appeared to hit the top of Gray’s head. Gray lay under the basket with his eyes closed for more than 10 minutes.
