CYPRESS
The City Council this week unanimously passed a balanced budget for the 1999-2000 fiscal year. Total projected revenue for next year is $23 million and total expenditures are expected to be $22 million.
The budget is 7.3% higher than last year’s because of $1.5 million in spending for capital projects such as improving Ball Road, Finance Director Richard Storey said.
