Fair-goers and workers were startled at 12:45 p.m. Monday when the power briefly went out at the Orange County Fairgrounds after a traffic accident on Arlington Drive. A woman, believed to be a fair employee, crashed into a power pole after her front left tire went flat, said fair spokeswoman Diane Sorensen. Two adults in the car were transported to Western Medical Center-Santa Ana for treatment, but no further information was available.
