MISSION VIEJO
The annual Relay for Life to benefit cancer research will be held June 26 and 27 at Saddleback College. The race is part of a national 24-hour event sponsored by the American Cancer Society. A cancer survivor celebration will kick off the event at noon June 26. The relay will begin at 2 p.m. June 26 and finish at 8 a.m. June 27, followed by a one-hour awards ceremony. Last year, the Saddleback College event raised more than $100,000 for cancer research grants, local education programs, and free support for Orange County patients and their families. The goal this year is $125,000. Information: (949) 470-3061.
