There wasn’t a whole lotta shaking going on Tuesday.

But an afternoon quake near Ojai made enough of a jolt to register a magnitude 2.4, officials said.

The 1:06 p.m. quake was centered about five miles south of Ojai, according to Caltech seismologists, and could be felt as far away as midtown Ventura.

No damage or injuries were reported, authorities said.

School officials in Ojai and Ventura also did not report any problems.

Caltech recorded a 3.4 magnitude quake near Frazier Park on Feb. 19. In January, a series of small quakes, ranging from magnitude 2.5 to 3.2, shook the Port Hueneme and Oxnard areas.
