Seattle SuperSonic center Olden Polynice was fined $5,000 for making an obscene gesture at fans after Seattle’s game in Sacramento on Monday, the league said.

Seattle won, 105-102, in a game that featured several scuffles and saw Sacramento center Vlade Divac ejected. Polynice, who played for the Kings from 1994 to 1998, was booed throughout the game.

“There isn’t enough money in the world to take the kind of abuse I took,” Polynice told the Seattle Times. “These people were totally classless. They threw things at me.”

They will unveil a second set of road jerseys today, becoming the first NBA team to utilize anything other than the traditional tank-top style.

The Nets will wear a sleeveless, V-neck design, similar to the uniforms worn by the men’s teams at St. John’s and the University of Cincinnati.

Meanwhile, the Nets said they signed free-agent guard Doug Overton.

Overton, 29, averaged 3.0 points, 0.5 assists and 0.3 rebounds in six games with the Orlando Magic this season. He was waived Friday.
