3 Men Sought in Fatal Shooting Outside Bar
Police are searching for three men in the fatal shooting of a 22-year-old man early Saturday, authorities said.
Juan Torres of Van Nuys was with friends when an argument started with three people at the Su Nuevo Rodeo Bar, at 6531 Van Nuys Blvd., said Det. Jim Rahm of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Van Nuys Division.
Torres and his friends left the bar, but were followed outside by the three men at about 1:30 a.m. Torres was shot in the back several times and was taken to Northridge Hospital Medical Center. He was pronounced dead on arrival, Rahm said.
Police do not have a description of the three men and are looking for witnesses. It was unclear how many of the suspects fired shots at Torres.
