FOUNTAIN VALLEY
The Ocean View School District board of trustees recently awarded Capt. Dan Gunness the Wave Maker Award for his work supporting fire safety and disaster preparedness at Lake View School. Gunness has been a firefighter in the city of Orange for the past 10 years. He has contributed many hours to both students and teachers by providing expertise, training and guidance in emergency preparedness and accident prevention.
