While the Pacific View title is Camarillo’s to lose, since the Scorpions are the only unbeaten team after three weeks of league play, the two remaining weeks offer plenty of intrigue because only Rio Mesa has been eliminated from title contention.

Camarillo (3-4-1, 2-0) hosts Rio Mesa (2-6, 0-3) on Friday. A victory gives the Scorpions a share of the Pacific View crown.

Oxnard (2-6, 1-1) is at Channel Islands (2-6, 1-1) in the other league game Friday. A Channel Islands victory gives the Raiders a shot at tying for the title since they travel to Camarillo on Nov. 11.

On Nov. 12, Oxnard hosts Hueneme (4-4, 2-1) in another game that has title implications. If the Yellowjackets beat Channel Islands, and the Raiders beat Camarillo, Oxnard and Hueneme are playing for a share of the title.

If Camarillo wins twice, every other team is playing for second.
