Chatsworth 23, El Camino Real 13--Samuel Wesley rushed for 147 yards and one touchdown in 14 carries to lead host Chatsworth.
The Chancellors (3-7, 2-3) jumped to a 16-0 lead behind a four-yard touchdown run by Matt Cassel, a 29-yard field by Tom Colley and a three-yard run by Rafael Cansino.
Cansino’s score came with 8:51 to play in the third quarter.
Cassel, who completed seven of 10 passes for 159 yards, left midway through the fourth quarter. Coach Bill Coan said Cassel suffered a mild head injury and went with his parents to a hospital for precautionary measures.
El Camino Real (4-6, 1-4) pulled within 16-6 when Justin Graham returned a kickoff 93 yards in the third quarter.
The Conquistadores never threatened again.
Chatsworth held El Camino Real to 84 yards rushing and sacked Jonathan Graham seven times, including three by Cansino.
Graham completed seven of 10 passes for 137. He scored on a one-yard run late in the fourth quarter.
