Trial Date Set in Raider Suit
A trial date was set for Feb. 15 in Sacramento in the Raiders’ suit against Oakland and Alameda County. The trial is being held to determine whether the Raiders are free to move on or whether they are bound to remain in Oakland until 2011. The Raiders’ suit is based on the argument the team was fraudulently induced to sign the contracts to move after being told the stadium was sold out.
