Randall Anthony Betancourt, 20, of Oxnard was staggering along the sidewalk of Ash Street before walking into the traffic lanes on Main Street about 2 a.m., witnesses told Ventura police.
Police said Betancourt may have been intoxicated.
Witnesses added that several vehicles nearly struck Betancourt before the truck hit him, authorities said.
