Benefit Car Show Scheduled Sunday
Antique autos, classic cruisers and concept cars will be on display Sunday as Van Nuys Boulevard Auto Row rolls out its “Millennium Car Show.”
The event, sponsored by several car dealerships along Van Nuys Boulevard between Oxnard Street and Burbank Boulevard, will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Proceeds from exhibitors’ fees will benefit Keep Youth Doing Something, a Van Nuys-based organization providing soccer leagues, activities and other services for at-risk youth, planners said.
The car show will conclude with a parade of cars along Van Nuys Boulevard, led by Mayor Richard Riordan cruising in his “Mayor Mobile” and accompanied by the Van Nuys High School Band, organizers said.
Admission and parking are free.
