The City Council last week amended an ordinance further restricting start times for construction and maintenance work in the city. Beginning Oct. 28, start times must be changed from 7 to 9 a.m. for construction work and from 7 to 8 a.m. for maintenance and repair work. Construction includes major exterior work involving large machines and power tools. Maintenance includes minor exterior and landscape work involving lawn mowers, leaf blowers and other minor power tools. Information: (714) 229-6720.
