“We’re not thinking about Hart, we’re just focusing on next week and Burbank,” White said. “We had a really good week of practice. I knew we were going to come out and play a good game.”

Bauer completed nine of 13 passes for 208 yards and four touchdowns. White rushed for 149 yards in 14 carries and had three receptions for 120 yards.

The Vikings pressured Burroughs quarterback Joe Kroells the entire game, sacking him four times and intercepting four of his passes. Kroells also lost two fumbles.

After White staked Valencia to 7-0 lead with a five-yard scoring run, cornerback Sheyne Flatt intercepted a pass by Kroells and returned it 24 yards for a touchdown.

Stephen Stokes caught touchdown passes of 13 and 14 yards, and had one interception. He also completed a shovel pass to Brian Miller for a two-point conversion on a botched extra-point kick attempt.

Burroughs (2-4) scored on a 90-yard kickoff return by sophomore Mike Perez with 28 seconds left in the first half.
