St. Francis 63, Crespi 6--John Sciarra completed 18 of 24 passes for 277 yards and four first-half touchdowns as the Golden Knights took a 42-0 halftime lead at St. Francis.
St. Francis (8-0, 1-0) scored on six of its first seven possessions, was never forced to punt and out-gained Crespi, 431-176, in total yards.
Sciarra threw a two-yard touchdown to Nathan Tarrazone on the Golden Knights’ first drive and a 30-yarder to Brett Mitchell on their second. Sciarra threw 33-yard touchdown passes to Mitchell and Kenny Garcia in the second quarter.
Jimmy Knauf ran for one- and three-yard touchdowns in the second half.
Crespi (1-7, 0-1) ended St. Francis’ shutout bid with 1:03 left on Jaime Dipoma’s six-yard touchdown pass to Larry Viltz.
