Granada Hills 21, Chatsworth 14--Tristan Frazier scored what proved to be the winning touchdown on a seven-yard run with 2:16 to play in the third quarter at Chatsworth.
Chatsworth advanced twice into Granada Hills territory in the fourth quarter, but was stopped on downs.
Granada Hills (6-2, 2-1) built a 13-7 lead in the first quarter when Jason Winn threw touchdowns of 41 yards to Anthony Rodriguez and 30 yards to Carlos Galindo.
Winn completed six of 17 for 113 yards with two touchdowns and one interception.
Samuel Wesley of Chatsworth (2-6, 1-2) had 128 yards in 29 carries and scored on a one-yard run, giving the Chancellors a 14-13 lead midway through the third quarter.
Chatsworth’s Matt Cassel completed 11 of 21 passes for 120 yards. He connected with fullback Marvin Street on a six-yard scoring pass on the game’s opening drive.
