United Way Sets Day of Caring Projects
United Way will hold its Day of Caring today.
Volunteer teams of about 50 will either spruce up the Conejo Valley Botanic Garden or pack lunches at Food Share in Oxnard.
The opening ceremony begins at 9 a.m. at Constitution Park in Camarillo.
The first 200 guests will get a free T-shirt and breakfast. Work on the project will continue into the afternoon, with lunch provided.
