Mojave 22, L.A. Baptist 13--After scoring for 51 points last week against St. Genevieve, the Knights’ offense struggled in a loss to the Mustangs.
Scott Swenson of L.A. Baptist completed 12 passes for 180 yards and two touchdowns and Lord Cole ran for 63 yards on 13 carries.
Jason Ryan of Mojave caught four passes for 73 yards and two touchdowns and scored on a two-yard run.
Ryan gained 68 yards in 13 carries. Mojave’s Andrew Nish ran for 67 yards on eight carries.
“The big key was the offensive and defensive lines,” said Mark Bates, said L.A. Baptist coach. “They just outplayed our kids.”
