Author Puts Papa Hemingway in Spotlight

Papa! Papa!

Actor and writer Thomas Prosser, author of “Naked Hemingway,” a fictionalized biography of Ernest Hemingway, will portray the bearded one in a one-man performance focusing on the Lost Generation in Paris at 3 p.m. Saturday at Borders Books and Music, 429 Associated Road, Brea.

Prosser, who performs a number of roles, offers a close-up look at Hemingway and his famous friends, including F. Scott Fitzgerald and Gertrude Stein. The performance will include a question and answer session, followed by a book signing. (714) 672-0120.

Authors Gina Nahai (“Moonlight on the Avenue of Faith”) and Paula L. Woods (“Inner City Blues”) will speak at the 13th annual Laguna Beach Festival of Women Authors luncheon at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Surf and Sand Hotel in Laguna Beach.
