Irvine Valley 4, Golden West 2--Lindsay Cornell pitched a three-hitter to pick up her fourth win for host Irvine Valley (4-21, 2-17).

Jessica Hamer had two hits and two RBIs as the Lasers recorded their second conference victory, both against Golden West.

Santa Ana 3, Fullerton 1 (10)--Santa Ana’s Charmaine Kendrick hit a two-run double in the top of the 10th to break a 1-1 tie.

Wendi Kralich didn’t give up an earned run while going the distance for the Dons (21-12-1, 10-5).

Erin Kelly pitched a complete game for Fullerton, striking out nine.

In Orange Empire Conference men’s golf:

Saddleback 372, Palomar 396, Golden West 401, Cypress 407--Lonnie Charleson was the medalist, shooting a two-under 70 to lead Saddleback (16-1 in conference) at Meadow Lake in Escondido.

Jeff Greenfield shot 73 for Golden West. Zak Koontz shot 78 for Cypress.

Irvine Valley 366, Riverside 368, Santa Ana 373, Cuyamaca 405--Dan Stewart of Irvine Valley (8-7 in conference), Dave Lauder of Santa Ana (7-7) and Blake Humbles of Riverside (8-8) each shot a one-under 71 at El Prado.
