A Simi Valley bank was robbed Thursday morning of an undisclosed amount of cash, authorities said. The bandit is still at large.
The bandit entered a Bank of America at 1307 Los Angeles Ave. at 11:09 a.m., demanded cash, and then fled, said Simi Valley Police Lt. Rex Jones.
About five customers and five employees were in the bank at the time, he said. Witnesses did not see a weapon and no one was injured.
The suspect was described as a man in his 30s wearing a white T-shirt, Jones said.
Authorities do not know if the bandit was connected to a string of bank robberies throughout Ventura County this year, Jones said. A joint investigation by the Simi Valley Police Department and FBI is continuing.
