Eight residents have taken out nomination papers to run for two open seats on the City Council in November’s election. They are Michael Flammer, Eric James, Joseph Snider, Brian Gannon, Geoffrey Lachnor, Hart Fisher and incumbents Ruby Netzley and William Ossenmacher.
The deadline for candidates is 5 p.m. Friday. Nomination papers must include signatures of 20 registered voters.
Flammer is the only candidate who has officially filed, City Clerk Marsha Whalen said.
