Seven people were injured Friday afternoon, including a woman and two young children, when an MTA bus collided with a car in Northridge, authorities said.

According to a preliminary investigation, two cars collided at the intersection, knocking one into the path of the bus, said Sgt. Kristie Romero of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Devonshire Division. The bus skidded, slamming into the car carrying the woman and the children.
