Casa Romantica Workshop Saturday
The public is invited to attend a public workshop Saturday to review the preliminary plans for transforming Casa Romantica into a cultural, arts and education center.
The 1:30 p.m. workshop will be coordinated by the city and the Casa Romantica Cultural Center board of directors. Small group tours of Casa Romantica, the historic home of city founder Ole Hanson, will follow the scheduled presentations.
City officials hope to bring classes and programs in social sciences, history, botany and environmental sciences to the center. The workshop will be held at the Community Center, 100 N. Calle Seville. Information: (949) 361-8254.
