No. 3 Duke Falls to Clemson, 93-75

Chrissy Floyd scored 23 points as Clemson upset No. 3 Duke, 93-75, in an Atlantic Coast Conference opener at Clemson, S.C.

The Lady Tigers (5-2) had six players score in double figures. The Blue Devils (9-1), who had been off to their best start since 1987-88, were unable to handle the Tigers’ pressing defense.

The Blue Devils shot only 36.5% from the field and were out-rebounded 38-35.

No. 4 Notre Dame 72, No. 6 Purdue 61--Alicia Ratay scored 19 points, including two three-point baskets late in the second half to spark a 14-5 run, as the Irish (8-0) defeated the Boilermakers (8-2) and extended their school-record home winning streak to 27 games.

No. 7 Iowa State 93, Liberty 72--Freshman Erica Junod made seven of eight three-point shots and finished with a season-high 23 points to lead the Cyclones (7-0) to a victory at Ames, Iowa.

No. 21 North Carolina State 59, No. 8 Texas Tech 51--Carisse Moody scored 14 points and Adeola Olanrewaju had 11 as the Wolfpack (7-1) used a stifling defense and defeated the Red Raiders (5-1) at Austin, Texas.

No. 25 Texas 82, No. 10 Oregon 58--Tracy Cook scored 23 points and the Longhorns (9-1) handled the Ducks (4-1) at Austin, Texas.

No. 15 Oklahoma 101, Southern Methodist 71--LaNeisha Caufield scored 17 points as the Sooners (5-2) cruised to victory over the Mustangs (4-4) at Norman, Okla.

No. 20 Florida 85, Central Florida 44--Reserve Vanessa Hayden scored 19 points and had 11 rebounds as the Gators (7-0) continued their best start in five seasons with a victory over the Golden Knights (3-4) at Gainesville, Fla.

No. 24 Virginia 77, Wake Forest 61--Schuye LaRue scored 11 of her 19 points during two key second-half runs as the Cavaliers (7-3) pulled away in the second half against the Deamon Deacons (5-2) at Winston-Salem, N.C.
