Another Tough Break for Flutie and His Fans
Just in over the wire:
BUFFALO, N.Y.--Even though Rob Johnson broke both legs during last week’s overtime loss at New England, Buffalo Coach Wade Phillips has decided to play the often-injured quarterback over disgruntled backup Doug Flutie.
When reached at his home in New York State Hospital, Phillips explained, “We’ll give him a couple of possessions and see how he does.”
