City officials will attend a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Kids Place Outlet on Friday at 10 a.m. Festivities will continue through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with face painting, hourly giveaways and free workshops on safety and health provided by L.A. Fitness and Orange Coast Memorial Hospital. The California Highway Patrol will demonstrate correct installation of car seats and conduct fingerprinting for children.
