Santa Ana Man Killed in Dispute
A love triangle apparently gone awry left one Santa Ana man dead and another wanted by police, officials said Sunday.
The 33-year-old victim’s identity was not released pending notification of family members, police said. Meanwhile, authorities were searching for Amador Jimenez, 29, in connection with the shooting that occurred early Sunday morning. “Although the weapon was recovered at the scene, he is still considered armed and dangerous,” Santa Ana Police Sgt. Raul Luna said of Jimenez.
Luna said Jimenez, who also goes by the name Serrano, and the victim shared a trailer at a mobile home park on South Sullivan Street.
“The incidence arose out of a dispute over a female acquaintance,” Luna said.
