Todd Would Like to See Them Get Defensive

For the ninth consecutive game, in the ninth consecutive loss, the Clippers gave up at least 100 points as the Charlotte Hornets scored 115 against them Friday night.

Interim Coach Jim Todd was disappointed because he tried to keep Charlotte’s score down.

“Believe it or not, we actually tried to slow it down a little bit,” Todd said. “We tried to slow the tempo a little bit more than we had been doing in the past. We wanted to work on our shot selection and I thought we forced a few that we shouldn’t have.”

Guards Derek Anderson and Eric Murdock did not play against the Hornets because of ankle injuries and both are questionable for tonight’s game.
