* NORTHERN ARIZONA (6-5) at CAL STATE NORTHRIDGE (8-3), 7--A Big Sky Conference opener matches two of the conference’s best teams. Northern Arizona was tabbed to finish second in a preseason poll, Northridge third. The teams split two meetings last season, each winning at home. Northridge must contend with 7-foot center Dan McClintock, who led the Big Sky in field-goal percentage last season and has 126 career blocked shots. Northridge’s Brian Heinle is averaging 15 points a game. Hewitt Rolle ranks second among conference players in rebounding, averaging 8.5.
