Man Dies When Car Hits Power Pole
LANCASTER —
A 48-year-old man was killed Sunday night when his car hit a power pole, a California Highway Patrol officer said.
The accident occurred about 9:30 p.m. at 90th Street West near Avenue I, CHP Officer Rosa Ray said. Downed live wires were hindering attempts by Los Angeles County firefighters late Sunday to reach the body, Ray said.
