Forward Darius Songaila, one of the few players who could make some shots, scored 14 of his 18 points in the second half to lead visiting Wake Forest to a 67-53 victory over Clemson on Sunday.

Songaila made six of nine shots--scoring three of his baskets in the final minutes as the Demon Deacons, 10-4 overall and 1-1 in the Atlantic Coast Conference, won for the first time in three games after dropping out of the national rankings.

Clemson (6-8, 0-2) missed 18 of its first 21 shots and finished at 33% (20 for 60). Guard Will Solomon, the ACC’s leading scorer, had 26 points but made only eight of 19 shots.
