Cristin McLemore, who played at Oregon from 1992 to 1995 and is from Marina High, retains the school records for catches and touchdowns, but drops to second in receiving yardage at 2,498.

Droughns, who played at Anaheim High, finished the season with 1,234 yards, and 2,058 for his two-year Oregon career. His single-season total ranks second at the school, and his career total is sixth.

Droughns also set a school record for most carries in a season with 277, and a single-game record with 45 on Oct. 23 at Arizona.

In the 16 games Droughns played at Oregon, the Ducks were 13-3. He was sidelined the last five games of the 1998 season with an ankle injury.

Another former Los Alamitos receiver, Keenan Howry, had a good freshman season for the Ducks. He surpassed Hartley’s school freshman records with 29 catches for 452 yards and five touchdowns. Hartley had 25 catches for 387 yards and one touchdown as a freshman.
